Goodbye 2013…Hello 2014!!

2014 is upon us.  This is a hard concept for me to grasp.  I came back to Texas in 2008 to pursue my masters in counseling and I have been going non-stop ever since. Not to say that life wasn’t going on before 2008, but it was a monumental time in my life.

I love my life, I love my job and I love my family and friends.  But sometimes I want time to stand still.  I want to be able to drink in the life going on so quickly by me.  It’s times like these that I am reminded that I’m SUPPOSED to stop and drink in the life going on around me and I realize I control that and need to slow down.

That is a goal for me this year.  Stop and slow down and enjoy what is going on around me.  My business continues to grow, sometimes in different ways than I was expecting, but growing nonetheless.  I’m doing contract work in counseling and getting to focus more attention to my photography business as well. Hence this new and improved website and blog.  I plan to update the blog more often, take more pictures of the days going by and make clients happy as I provide images for them to cherish for a lifetime.

If you haven’t already, please join me on this journey.  I appreciate constructive criticism, as well as love shown through comments on the blog, referrals to people around you and all around support. It means a great deal!

2013 was a hard year, one that I was not expecting, but I’m ready to conquer 2014 with a smile and a new attitude!
